The Longrow 21 Year Single Malt (2023 Bottling) is a highly coveted, richly peated expression from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Bottled on October 18, 2023, this limited-edition release masterfully combines its signature coastal smokiness with an elegant, fruity character.
Matured in a blend of 65% Sherry casks and 35% Bourbon casks, this whisky offers a complex and nuanced profile.
- Nose: Rich and creamy, with notes of vanilla custard, dark chocolate, and dried fruits, gradually unfolding into sweet coastal peat smoke.
- Palate: Exceptionally well-balanced, with an oily and syrupy texture. Flavors of toffee, raisins, sugared almonds, and earthy cigar box smoke are complemented by subtle hints of sea salt.
